A dragon cascading down a bookshelf can become the centrepiece of a fantasy reading corner. The most useful preparation happens before ordering: check the bookcase, photograph the intended arrangement and establish which pieces you need.
The Dragon Dock clamp set consists of a head-support clamp and a rock-style tail-support clamp. In the Bookshelf Guardian arrangement, the upper support holds the head while the segmented body hangs beneath it; the lower support provides a resting point for the tail.
This is a display arrangement, not a universal fit for every shelf. Confirm suitability for your own bookcase before ordering.
The Guardian page recommends securing the bookshelf to the wall to help prevent it tipping forwards under the added weight. Check that the shelf, bookcase and wall fixings are suitable for the complete arrangement. The clamps do not replace the need for a properly supported bookcase.
