Frequently asked questions
Can other people see my whole collection?
No. Your books, notes, purchase prices and photographs are private by default. Only details connected to a Live listing that you deliberately mark for the public marketplace are shown.
Does Shelfbound process book purchases?
No. A member listing opens the seller’s Vinted, eBay or other supplied marketplace page. That marketplace handles the transaction, postage and its own buyer protection.
Does Shelfbound charge commission on a member sale?
No. Shelfbound is funded by membership subscriptions and does not rewrite sale links or take a percentage of member sales.
How is my membership payment handled?
The existing Veilbound Realms WooCommerce checkout and Stripe payment system handle the subscription. Shelfbound does not collect or store card details.
Can I use Shelfbound on my phone?
Yes. Shelfbound is designed as a responsive web app for phone, tablet and computer browsers. It is not currently a native App Store or Google Play app.
What happens if my subscription ends?
Access follows the status of your WooCommerce subscription. When membership access ends, the private app and your public member sale listings are no longer available.
